Life is a Bird....

It will fly away before you have a chance to stop and enjoy how beautiful it is.
This whimsical bird head started as a pencil drawing....


then got colored in black marker and pencil and cut-out (then scanned again)



and lastly the collagewhere I tried to show how life pulls us in very different directions as we grow.

A dream come true

I had admired orchids for a few years now but lately they became so popular and widely available that I wanted to get one. What do you know, a few weeks ago I received a lovely one with white petals & fuschia in the centers. I wanted to keep it in the bedroom but read that it's best to grow at an Eastern window, so it had to stay in the Living Room.

Obviously, my drawing skills need improvement... so let me keep practicing and we'll see.
